John Paul Pelech

JOHN PAUL PELECH age 80, of Mio, MI, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020.

John was born in Detroit, MI on May 09,1939 to John Pelech Sr. and Julia (Blaszczuk) Pelech. He attended and graduated from Peck (MI) schools in 1957. He married Marie Pearl Robtoy in Capac Mi. On April 26, 1958. John worked as a Diesel, heavy equipment, and truck mechanic his entire career. Formerly of Brown city MI they moved in retirement to their vacation home in Mio, MI in April 2000. He was a lifelong Harley Davidson owner and enthusiast. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing in Michigan and vacationing in Arizona. John had a heart of gold and truly lived his life "his way"! He was predeceased by his wife Marie in December 2001, and his son Robert in March 2014. John is survived by his children; Louise (John) Cantlin of Melvin MI, Sandra Pelech of Brown City, MI, Cindy (Richard) Vielhaber of Capac, MI, Brian (Tricia) Pelech of Tracy, CA; Siblings; Jim (Lucille) Pelech of South Carolina, and Kathleen (Mike) Kautz of Michigan. Ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a niece and nephews. And very special friend and companion Cheryl Cox.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Service will be held at a later date.
