Services at General Assembly & Church of the First Born, Linden, TN, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 9th, with Brent Landers officiating. Interment at the Oliver Cemetery, Linden, TN.
A gathering of family and friends, Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio 11:00 AM until the time of Memorial Services at 1:00 PM, with Roy North officiating.
John was born in Caro, MI. on October 22, 1952 and had worked as a Sales Rep. at Oliver Technologies.
Surviving him are his: Wife Jenny (Booth) Oliver; Daughter: Joella (Kurt) Taubert of Highland, MI; Sons: Jamie Oliver of Panama City, FL., David Oliver of Houghton Lake, MI; Step Sons: Shawn Fox of Bay City, MI, Kenny Fox, Chad Fox, Calvin (Jessie) Fox all of Mio, MI; Brothers: James Oliver of Hohenwald, TN, Paul Oliver of Oscoda, MI, Virgil Oliver of Oakley, MI and 18 grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his Father Archie Easton Oliver and Mother Martha Ruth (Goloub) Oliver.
