John A. Fessler Jr.

John Arthur Fessler, Jr., age 72, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, November 9, 2009, in Fostoria, MI. Visitation Friday, November 13, 2009 from 5-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI; and again from 11AM until the time of Funeral Service at 1 PM on Saturday, November 14, 2009 with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery.
John was born on July 7, 1937 in Michigan. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. John worked for General Motors in both Pontiac, Michigan and in Ohio, retiring in the late 1990's. He moved to Crossville, TN upon his retirement; and was known as ""Johnny Jack"" by his friends there. John enjoyed music, horses, playing the guitar, and being a karaoke DJ.
John is survived by his children: Randy & Sherry Fessler, John & Rheda Fessler, Kathy Fessler (Greg), Brad & Michelle Fessler, Sheri Fessler (Oliver), and Connie & Andy Richmond; his brother Richard (Marsha) Fessler; his sister Barbara Wilson; 18 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A special ""Thank You"" to his grandchildren: Chris, Melissa & Albert, Jr., and Andrew.
