John Maxwell “Pig” “Skipper” Baisley, age 73 of Fairview, Michigan, formerly of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 19, 2013.
John was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 1, 1939 to John and Edith (Spranger) Baisley. He worked most of his life as a pipefitter for Fluid Concepts of Clinton Township, Michigan. He moved to Fairview, Michigan 4 years ago from St. Clair Shores. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends at “The Wild Turkey”. He was a member of the Mt. Clemens Eagles; Comins Eagles; and the St. Clair Shores Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his wife Sylvia of Fairview, MI; his children: Michael (Laura) Baisley of Clinton Twp. MI; Frank (Cheri) Baisley of Macomb, MI; and John (Suzanne) Baisley of Warren, MI; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment of ashes at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan.
