Joan Marie Leaf

Joan M. Leaf, age 88 of Fairview, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 23, 2023 at The Villa at Rose City.

Joan was born on June 14, 1935 to Glen and Irene Melton. She was a loving and caring person who went out of her way to help others. Joan worked at the nursing home in Fairview for many years. She cared about people, not only physically but also spiritually. Joan accepted Jesus as her Savior on November 11, 1981. She lived for God the rest of her life.

Joan is survived by her brother Don (Carol) Melton; her sister Sherry (Rod) Marsh; her children: Gail Michuda, Paul Egan, and Perry Egan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Leaf, her son Gerald Egan, and her grandsons: Joshua Harrington and Jacob Harrington.

A Graveside Service was held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Kittle Cemetery in Mio, Michigan with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating.
