Jessie R Cantrell

Jessie Roberta Cantrell, 76 of Curran MI, passed away on October 25th, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Jessie was born on February 28th, 1948, to Earl and Audie Candler in Detroit, MI. She has resided in Curran MI, for 33 years.

Jessie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack Cantrell and her children; Major, David (Genny), Misty (Dale), Jackie (Bill), and Keith. Her siblings Dorthy, Ginny, and Francis. 19 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Jessie is preceded in death by her parents Audie and Earl. Her siblings Charlie, Fred, Shirley, Linda, Fay, and Avery.

Jessie loved to do many things. This included making quirky crafts, bowling, bingo, always winning at the casino, corn hole, playing cards, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. Jessie will be deeply missed.

Jessie would do anything and everything for everyone. During the holidays she would make her rock candy and send it out to family and friends. She would make peanut brittle just because and send it out too. Jessie would make sure everyone in her address book got a Christmas card during the holidays.

Memorial services will take place at a later date.
