Jerome R. Roznowski, of Mio, Michigan Formerly of Bay City, Michigan, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, Jerome R. Roznowski, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City, Michigan. Age 80 years. Jerome was born on February 19, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Joseph and Martha (Napieralski) Roznowski. After graduating high school, Jerome proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. On July 7, 1962 inside of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bay City, Michigan, Jerome married the love of his life, Judith Ann Moore, and she survives him. After 31.5 years of service with Saginaw Steering Gear, Jerome retired as a machinist on July 31, 1996. He and his wife were members of several different Catholic Churches in the Bay City and Mio area. While living in Bay City, before retirement, Jerome was an active member of Our Lady of Peace Parish – St. Mary’s Catholic Church; there he served as a Eucharistic Minister. After moving to Mio, Jerome practiced his faith at Our Lady of the Woods Shrine. Jerome was very involved with the Knights of Columbus; he was a 4 th Degree & Color Corps Member of Bay City Council #414 and Mio Council #2379. He was a past Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator, and Treasurer for Knights of Columbus Council #2379. Jerome was an avid bowler and golfer. His family, especially his great-grandchildren, will forever cherish the memories made with Jerome at his home in Mio, Michigan. Jerome will be missed dearly by all, and his memories will be cherished forever.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 58 years, Judith Ann Roznowski; children, Anthony Roznowski, Michael (Patricia) Roznowski, Paul Roznowski, James (Stephanie) Roznowski, John Roznowski, and Jennifer (William) Vanderpool; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clarence (Gloria) Moore, Gerald (Judy Kay) Moore, Michael (Loraine) Moore, and Mary Hanger; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jerome is happily reunited with his parents, Joseph and Martha (Napieralski) Roznowski; sister and brothers, Evelyn (Raymond) Wojciechowski, Arthur (Laura) Roznowski, Henry Roznowski, and Irvin (Ann) Roznowski; and brother-in-law, Joseph (Jill) Moore.

At the request of Jerome and his family, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held at the Squires Funeral Home. Military Honors and Inurnment will take place at a later date inside of Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
