Jeffery W. Stout, age 54 of Mio, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He has entered into the presence of those he loved who have passed away before him and into the hands of a loving God.
Jeffery was born on April 25, 1967 in Madison Heights, Michigan to Victor and Shelby Stout. He grew up primarily in Warren, Michigan, and attended Center Line High School. He worked for many years in the horse racing industry directly with race horses with his brother Allen and enjoyed that time in his life. In previous years, Jeff was a member of the Mio Moose Lodge and the Mio Dummy Club. He was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Mio in 2011. Jeff loved Westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza, and all wholesome family television. He was a great cook who shared his talents with so many friends and family. He had a wonderfully generous spirit and will be remembered as someone who helped others where he could. Jeff also loved football, car racing, his cat Harriet, traveling, music and going to the AuSable River.
Jeffery is survived by his children: Christina Deason of Harsens Island, MI; Dustin Sidaway of Gaylord, MI; Cody Sidaway of Romeo, MI; Haley Sidaway of New Haven, Michigan; and Marshall Wood of Lapeer, MI; his sisters Donna Luckey of Mio, MI and Virginia (Thomas) Drake of Fairview, MI; his brothers Allen (Paula) Stout of Warren, MI and Richard (Mary) Stout of Clinton Township, MI; 3 grandchildren and 1 expected grandchild. He is also survived by his best friend Wally Keely of McKinley, MI and many, many other friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews with whom he has shared so many good times and made so many memories. Jeffery was preceded in death by his father Victor Stout of Mansfield, OH, his mother Shelby Stout of Mio, MI, his paternal grandparents Ira and Emma Stout of Mansfield, OH, his maternal grandparents Marshall and Delcie Sperow of Clinchco, VA, his sister Debbie Stanley of Harriman, TN, and his cousin Mark Smith of Glennie, MI; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who meant so much to him.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No memorial has been planned. His ashes have been placed as he requested.
