Jeanne M. Gerard

Jeanne Marie Gerard, age 86, of Fairview, MI formerly of Comins, MI passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, at her home.
Jeanne was born Detroit, Michigan on August 17, 1927, a daughter of the late Gladys Luella (Jaco) and Charles Henry Bartle and lived in the Detroit area most of her life. She settled in Comins in the mid 1980's where she was a member of The Comins Mennonite Church, had enjoyed crocheting and collecting antique cruets and will be remembered as an accomplished home decorator.
She is survived by her sons: Kevin (Jeanette) Swanguarin of North Fort Myers, Florida and Kris (Sheila) Swanguarin of Fairbanks, Alaska; stepchildren: Cal Clough, Debbie Laundner, Shirley Zuzga and Bud Gerard; her brother Charles Bartle; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; her nieces and nephews Vicki, Erica, Charles, Roy and Amber.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Jewell Swanguarin, Ronald Clough and Gene Gerard and her beloved dog Brianna.
Visitation Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM at The Lashley Funeral Home and Wednesday November 27, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at The Comins Mennonite Church with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating.
Interment at Fairview Cemetery Fairview, MI.
