Jeanette M. Schultz

Jeanette Marie Schultz, loving wife of Richard Schultz of Mio, MI, passed peacefully in her sleep, Friday, July 17, 2026. She had battling cancer the last few months of her life. Jeanette was born in Detroit, MI on May 4, 1951, where she spent her childhood and teen years. She married Richard in February of 2006. Jeanette enjoyed cooking, computer games, and gambling. She worked as a bartender at American Legion Post 162 in Luzerne, MI and the Mio Moose Lodge 1035 in Luzerne, MI. Jeanette was very involved in the Legion and Moose activities. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard, children, Gary Wolf of Detroit, MI, Christine Wolf of Macomb, MI, Jennifer Spicer of Brownstown Twp., MI, Kimberly Pelino of Clinton Twp., and her sister Marlene Hinchcliffe of Elmira, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hancock, and mother, Helen Hancock. Her body has been donated for scientific research per her wishes. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Mio Moose Lodge in Luzerne, MI on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
