James Allen Ward, Sr.

James Allen " Squeek" Ward, Sr., age 82, of Mio, MI, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, at his home.
James was born in Almont, Michigan on April 12, 1935, a son of the late Ethel May (Sharrard) and Lewis Ward.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and was a longtime resident of Almont, MI.
He married Violet E. (McNally) Ward on August 25, 1956. He retired as a painter in 1994 and moved to Mio.
He is survived by his loving wife Violet; Children: James Ward Jr. (Holly) of Imlay City, MI; Gregg Ward of Battle Creek, MI and Stacey Sanday ( Robert) of Brown City, MI. 5 Grandchildren: Ryan and Jamie of Imlay City, MI; Kyle, Kelsey and Emily of Brown City, MI; 2 great grandchildren Madison and Aiden of Imlay City, MI.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, no funeral or Memorial Services are planned.
