James Gardner Nickel

James Gardner Nickel, 47, was met by the loving arms of his mother in heaven on March 27, 2009. Jimmy was a man of great honor and loyalty. An unfortunate accident in Hobe Sound, Florida caused his death but will never take his life. He lives on through his daughter, Jessica Bowers (B.J. Bowers) and his granddaughters Katelyn and Kayla; his son, Thomas Giese; his father, James Paul Nickel (Jana McMillan), his sisters Penny Ann Nickel and Paula Parisot (Jerry Parisot); his brother Roger Nickel (Cristina Nickel); his nieces, Stephanie Erdodi, Heather Erdodi, Miranda Parisot, and Lizzy Parisot; and his nephews, Adam Erdodi and Tyler Parisot; his Club Brothers; and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Doris Nickel.
A Memorial will be held on Thursday, April 2 at Roger's Roost in Sterling Heights. Visitation at The Lashley Funeral Home on Friday, April 3 from 3 - 9 PM. Religious Service at The Mio Baptist Church, Mio, Michigan, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 4th, with Reverend Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery.
