James Krick

James Harold Krick, age 60 of Mio, MI, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch, MI.
James was born on June 19, 1952 in Standish, Michigan and adopted at birth by Harold and Frances Krick. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1970.  James drove trucks and worked for many sawmills in the area, including his own:  Mio Wood Products.  He had a love for fishing, camping and snowmobiling.  He shared his passion for small engines with his grandson, Cameron, and many friends at his shop:  M33 Sales and Service.
Surviving are his loving wife Rita Krick; four step-daughters; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren (with one in the oven).  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Harold and Frances Krick; his brother William Freudenstein; his sister Theodora Winkler; his mother-in-law Dorothy Abel; and his brother-in-law Raymond Abel.
In accordance with Jamesâ?? wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 1-2 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with a Memorial service at 2 PM. Interment of ashes will be at Kittle Cemetery at a later date.
