James David Irelan

James (Jim) David Irelan, 62, of Mio, passed away at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, November 7th. 2024. Jim passed with his life partner, Melanie Schalk, and his daughters, Samantha and Jaemi Irelan, close by.
Jim is survived by his life partner, Melanie Schalk, daughters, Samantha Irelan (AJ Wing), Jaemi Irelan-Dunn, stepchildren, Amanda Bollon (Lance), Allison Smith (Jeff), Stephen Smith, grandkids Taurine, Phineas, Kaleb, Alex, Jack, Heaven, Madalynn, Connor, Anya, Ian, Tyler, Olivia, Ella, and Sophia. He is also survived by a brother and many nieces and nephews.
Jim is proceeded in death by his mother, Sandra K. Irelan, father, James E. Irelan, brothers David and Edward Irelan, and son Patrick James (PJ) Irelan.
In accordance with Jim's wishes, no service will be held after cremation.
