James M. Hammerle, Sr., age 57 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at The Villa at Rose City on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

James was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 29, 1963 to Richard and Marilyn (Randles) Hammerle. He moved to Mio 5 years ago from Lincoln Park, Michigan. James loved Michigan Football and hunting.

Surviving are his children: Nicole Hammerle, James (Taylor) Hammerle, Jr. Drake (Katie) Elias and Cody Coffman; 2 sisters: Linda (Allan) Sucharski and Diana Scratch; 4 brothers: George (Patti) Hammerle, Charles (Amy) Hammerle, Mark Hammerle, and Richard (Annette) Hammerle; 4 grandchildren and his brother-in-law Kenneth Cloutier. He was preceded in death by his sister Sandra Cloutier.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
