James Edward Gooch

James Edward Gooch, age 69 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

James was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 17, 1955 to James Leonard and Wilma Jean (Hutzler) Gooch.  He moved to Mio in 2015 from Eastpointe, Michigan.

James is survived by his fiancée Gayle Alvarez and his siblings: Jeanette, Joyce, Larry, Michael, and Chris and his “granddaughter” Vanessa. . He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents and his brother Mark.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
