James Clifford Gilliam, Jr.

James Clifford Gilliam Jr., age 77, of Mio, MI, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at his home.
James was born in Tiny, Virginia on August 9, 1948, a son of James Clifford Gilliam, Sr. and Bonnie (Pryor) Gilliam. He moved to Oxford, Michigan and Graduated from Oxford High School. He moved to Mio, following his retirement, after working as a master mechanic his whole life. James enjoyed fishing, boating and playing bass guitar in a band.
Surviving are his wife of 18 years Susanne, children: Jamie, Kelli, Jason, Juli, Drake and Angel; grandchildren: Sherry, Judy, Alexia, Sydnie, Madelyn, Seth, Kendal, Owen, Bryce, Hayden, Lanie, Benny and Marnie; Sisters: Pat and Mary and his brother Jeff.
James was preceded in death by his parents James & Bonnie and a brother Paul.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026.
