James R. Garrison

James R. Garrison, age 65 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
James was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 14, 1952 to Roy and Mildred (Stewart) Garrison. He married Robin Durfee on December 27, 1991. They moved to Luzerne in 1999 from Macomb County. James worked as a carpet installer. He enjoyed hunting,
James is survived by his wife Robin; his children: Michelle (William) Robertson of Gaylord, MI; Benjamin James Garrison of Luzerne, MI; and Laura Elizabeth (Ronald) Stager of Mio, MI; his brothers: George Garrison of Sterling Heights, MI; and Tom Garrison of Florida; his sister Irene Garrison of Michigan; and his grandchildren: James Garrison, Chace Robertson, Micha Robertson, and Eugenia Robertson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Graveside service will be held at a later date.
