James Badgerow

Mr. James Walter Badgerow, 62, of Mio passed away Thursday, November 22nd, 2012 at his home.
James was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 7, 1950, the son of the late Eugene and Laurene J. (Mills) Badgerow. He worked as a millwright iron worker and had vacationed in Mio for years after which he moved to Mio in 2003 from Belleville, Michigan.  James enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching and spending time with his grandfather. He also loved puttering around in the pole barn and with his motorcycle.
James is survived by his life long partner Cathy Nehila of Mio; his daughter Vanessa Kelley of Los Angeles, CA.; his granddaughter Hannah Kelley; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; step father Joe Galbraith and his sister Cheryl Badgerow.
Viewing is Tuesday November 27 from 1-4 & 6-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services also at The Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, Michigan, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 28th, with Reverend Kim Chenoweth officiating.  Interment follows at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, MI.
