Irene F. Yoder

Irene Fay Yoder, 83, of Fairview peacefully passed away May 13, 2007 at her home after a short illness.
She was born September 30, 1923 to John and Ella (Handrich) Miller in Fairview, MI. On December 16, 1944, she married Floyd M. Yoder, and they enjoyed 62 years together.
She accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a member of the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church. Her greatest desire was to serve the Lord faithfully.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd; two daughters, Carolyn (Harry) Gerber of Fairview, MI; and Rhoda (Aaron) Witmer of Goodhue, MN; one son, Jason (Doris) Yoder of Nashwauk, MN; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ethel (Vernell) Handrich of Fairview, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and a sister, Esther Zook.
Visitation was held 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Fairview Mennonite Church with Bro. Daniel Stauffer, Bro. Philip Sensenig, Bro. Barry Troyer, and Bro. Merlin Bender officiating. Interment was at the Fairview Cemetery.
