Irene Isabell Willobee

Irene I. Willobee, age 95 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at The Villa at Rose City on Monday, July 31, 2017.
Irene was born in Sheridan, Michigan on June 30, 1922 to Ernest and Esther (Beardsley) Griggs. She owned and operated Annex Grocery in Luzerne with her husband Ted for many years. She also worked 8 years at Bear Archery, and had also worked at the Mio Laundromat, and served as a Foster Grandmother for 18 years at Mio AuSable Schools.
Irene is survived by 8 children: Douglas Marshall, Dave (Linda) Marshall, Mike (Sandi) Willobee, Sue Willobee, Sandy (Pat) Sposato, Mark Willobee, Jody (Barb) Willobee, and Jeff (Barb) Willobee; 2 nieces, and many marvelous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Melvin Marshall, and her second husband Edward “Ted” Willobee.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
