Irene M. Clark

Irene M. ""Renie"" Clark, age 65, of Comins, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010, at the Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, MI.
Renie was born on April 8, 1945 in Spinks Corners, Michigan, to Benjamin and Marie (Smith) Troyer and moved to Fairview as a child.  Renie enjoyed painting.  She was an artist; creating and selling her works at ""Renieâ??s Creations"" in Comins and enjoyed baking for both her family and friends. Renie was a member of the Comins Mennonite Church and was an active member of both the Fairview and Comins Communities,
Surviving are her daughter Georgia Murray of Comins; her brothers: Rich (Gen) Troyer of Comins and Ron (Janet) Troyer of Fairview.  She will also be missed by the many dear family members of the late Bob Schanck. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Jack Troyer; and her long-time companion Bob Schanck.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 4-8PM at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI, and also from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11 AM on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Comins Mennonite Church, Comins, MI, with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating.  In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the funeral.
