Howard "Howie" Peckham

Howard “Howie” Peckham, age 89 of Comins, Michigan, passed away at McLaren-Flint Hospital on Monday, January 2, 2017.
Howie was born in Lowell, Michigan on September 24, 1927 to Howard and Lena Peckham. He married Rowena M. (Mineker) Peckham in 1952 in Lowell, MI. The couple moved to Comins in 1957, where Howie worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a member of the Comins Eagles.
Howie is survived by his step-children Lillian Moede, Henry “Hank” Smith, Clara Burgett, and Sue Kappen; his sister Corky; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rowena in 2008.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Comins Eagles Club.
