Mr. Henry W. Detroyer, age 71, of Luzerne, formerly of Utica, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007. Visitation Tuesday, October 30, 2007, from 1-7 P.M with Funeral Service at 7 P.M. with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating.
Mr. Detroyer was born and raised in Utica to the late Henry and Antoinette (Rinke) Detroyer. He retired from Messina Trucking in Utica, Ml in 1991 and moved to Luzerne in 1995. He was owner, with his wife Phyllis, of Bear Paw Cabins and The Little Sports Shop in Luzerne. Henry enjoyed woodworking, archery repair, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Detroyer is survived by his wife Phyllis; his children: Rose (Raymond) Mrosewske of New Baltimore, Ml; Patricia (Glenn) Brice Of LaCrosse, Wl; Henry (Rebecca) Detroyer of Utica, Ml; John Hether and Lynn Hether, both of Luzerne, Ml; his sister Jean (Richard) O'Connor of St. Clair, Ml; his brothers Dennis (Myrna) Detroyer of Newberry, Ml; Anthony (Virginia) Detroyer of Utica, Ml and Richard (Barbara) Detroyer of Chelsea, Ml; He had 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
