Helen Layman, age 90 of West Branch, formerly of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gratiot on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
Helen was born in Fairview, Michigan on May 14, 1928 to Ernest and Nora (Schrott) Layman. She was raised and lived in Fairview, and had lived in West Branch for the last several years. Helen loved playing baseball as a child.
Helen is survived by many cousins of the Schrott, Layman, Sherwood, Marsh, and Franks families. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Brenda Klacking officiating. Interment will follow at Mentor Twp. Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
