Mr. Harold David Anspaugh, Sr., 61, of Mio, MI. died Sunday, June 29th, 2008 peacefully at his home in Mio, MI. Viewing Thursday July 3, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Service will be the same day at 3:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating; all taking place at The Lashley Funeral Home in Mio. In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place after services.
Harold was born April 19, 1947 in Milford, MI. to the late Harrison Jacob (Carrie May Miller) Anspaugh. He was raised in Clarkston and married Patricia Maryia (Olmstead) in February 19, 1966. He worked at The Pine Knob Ski Resort in Holly, MI., was a production worker at Fisher Body Pontiac and other shops. He was a Meat Cutter at Tom Fink in Davison, MI. and he had also worked at Walmart in Bad Axe in the sporting goods and janitorial departments. Harold moved to Mio in 1997 from Goodrich, Mi. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and gardening. He was also a life time member of American Association of Handyman and Woodworkers and The NRA. Harold was an avid wildlife and outdoors man.
Harold is survived by two daughters, Janette Rena (Craig) Froman of North Branch, MI. Sandra Maryia (Don) Zelmanski of Mio, MI; three sons Harold David (Cariann) Anspaugh of Davison, MI., Dennis Keith (Rachel) Anspaugh of Burton, MI., Brian Lee Anspaugh (Kendra Markley) of Flint, MI. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 2 Step Grandchildren; 1 sister in law Mabel Anspaugh and his Aunt Nina.
He is preceded in death by his Parents Harrison and Carrie Anspaugh and one brother Fred Anspaugh.
