Grace Ramsey

Grace L. Ramsey, age 86, of Comins, MI, formerly of Dearborn, MI, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, MI.
Grace was born in Coldwater, MI on September 16, 1925 to Albert and Belva (Bowerman) Byers. She married Glenn Ramsey in August of 1946. The couple lived in Dearborn, MI, where Grace worked for Ketchum Whole Sale Drugs in Detroit.  She moved to Comins in October of 1994. Grace was a self-taught artist who worked in acrylic paints.  Her artwork had been represented in the Oscoda County Herald.
Surviving are her children: Marcia (Gregory) Groth of Glennie, MI and Glenn Ramsey and Dotti Jones of Glendale, CA;   her 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her loving and attentive life partner Bob Davis of Comins, MI and her sister Marge (Donald) Jonas of Niceville, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Glenn Ramsey; and her brothers:  Dale and Don Byers of Coldwater, MI.
In accordance with Graceâ??s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.
