Grace Handrich

Grace I. Handrich, age 86 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away at home on Monday, October 12, 2015.
Grace was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 4, 1929 to Emory and Lela (Diller) Layman.  She moved to Fairview when she was 9 years old.  Grace married Robert on August 11, 1946 at the Fairview Mennonite Church.  She was a longtime member of the Fairview Mennonite Church, and more recently attended the Comins Mennonite Church. Grace enjoyed writing poetry, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and was an avid card game player.  She had enjoyed spending time with her husband Bob travelling, and wintering in Florida.
Grace is survived by her children:  Kay (Henk) Jansen, Ted (Mary) Handrich, Lynn (Sonja) Handrich, and Michael Handrich; 18 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Handrich; her son Doug; her grandson Robbie; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9 AM -11 AM at the Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, MI, with Funeral Services at 11 AM with Pastor Kevin Salsbury of the Comins Mennonite Church officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
