Gloria J. Green

Gloria Jean Green, age 74, of Mio, MI, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 a Munson Medical Center, Traverse City.

Gloria was born on August 1, 1951, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She lived in Kent City, Michigan during her early years and then moved to Mio where she lived for the remainder of her life. Gloria loved children and animals. She enjoyed cooking and reading.

Gloria is survived by her sister, Connie Williams, and her close cousins Cindy (Jerry) Zacharias, Steve (Debbie) Lemon, Cheri (Tim) Cox, Candy (Gary) Wood, Chelsea (Nick) Butler, and Kylee Fuhr. She is also survived by her special double cousins Darlene Ketchum, Art Moulter, and Floyd Moulter and her stepson Michael Green and family. Gloria had many other cousins and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jimmie Green, her brother James Silverthorn, and her parents George Silverthorn and Fannie Williams.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI, with Mr. Gary Wood and Mr. Bob Jones officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, MI.
