Gloria Faye Coon

Gloria F. Coon, age 74 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 10, 2018.

Gloria was born in Douglas, Michigan on September 3, 1943 to James and Ruby (Watson) Russell. She worked as a waitress for Davison Apollo Restaurant for 15 years. She had also worked for H & R Block in Flint, and at the Mio Laundromat for 6 years. She enjoyed The Paddle Inn "Coffee Club" and spending time with friends.

Gloria is survived by her husband Marvin Coon of Luzerne, MI; her children: Michael (Debbie) Galloway of Flint, MI and Tim (Mary) Galloway of Roscommon, MI; her stepdaughter Kim (John) Belcher of Mio, MI; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her good friends Peggy Nietiedt and Lyle Cline. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Shannon Galloway, and her step-children Tammy Coon and Mike Coon.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
