Glenn Sharp

Glenn Noyes Sharp of LaFeria, TX, formerly of Mio, MI, went to be with the Lord July 27, 2012 at Valley Baptist Hospital, with his family at his side.
He was born May 24, 1926 in Inkster, Michigan to Wilmer and Mary (Tucker) Sharp.
He is preceded by his parents and siblings, Robert, .Richard, Ruth, Bonnie and Liola.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Mildred Sharp, married 66 years and children, Marilyn (Jim) Rang, May (Ken) Schramm; Mike McCallum and Marsha (Mike) Taylor, 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
He   proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines aboard the ship USS Enterprise as a member of Admiral Reeve's staff. Glenn was the owner and operator of Glen Sharp Sales and Service of Mio, He and Mildred settled in LaFeria, TX in 1975. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and also belonged to the local American Legion arid VFW organizations in Texas.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 11AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at The Comins Mennonite Church with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at the Clinton Township Cemetery, Comins with Military Honors offered by The Luzerne American Legion Post #162.
