George Boyce

Mr. George V. Boyce, age 75, of Luzerne, MI, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

George was born on March 19, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan to John L. & Guinevere H. (Sparks) Boyce.  He served his country in the US Air Force. George worked for GM Plant 3, Saginaw Steering Gear as a truck driver.  Upon retiring, George settled in Luzerne. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his sisters:  Carol Bruce of Luzerne, MI; Frances Ellis of Saginaw, MI; Gloria Psiuk of Bridgeport, MI; and Helen Lentner of Frankenmuth, MI; and several nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother John Boyce, Jr.; and his sister Mary Lou Raymond.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and services will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donorâ??s choice.
