Gary Earl Stachowski

Gary E. Stachowski, age 73 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Gary was born in Hollister, California on May 15, 1947 to Joseph and Lois (Tank) Stachowski. He moved to Wayne, Michigan as a child. Gary served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a welder for National Tool & Die Welding in Livonia, Michigan. Gary moved to Mio in 2000. He had enjoyed golfing and playing "Tiger Woods Golf" on video.

Surviving are his mother Lois Tank of Gaylord, MI; his children: Rachelle (Gregory) Lockridge of Ypsilanti, MI; Jennie Stine of Westland, MI; and Mark Stachowski (Melissa Story) of Comins, MI; his sister Robin (Greg) Shoner of Clinton Twp., MI; his brothers: Joseph (Judy), Mickey, and Ronald Stachowski; and 11 grandchildren, including his only granddaughter Alayna Stachowski. He was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers: Jay and Davey.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Military Honors will be held at a later date.
