Gary L. Platz

Gary L. Platz, age 75 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

Gary was born in Dearborn, Michigan on August 19, 1944 to Robert and Ellen (Baer) Platz. He worked as a draftsman in the Dearborn area, and then settled in Mio. Gary was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lewiston. He enjoyed antique cars, HO scale model trains, African violets, and orchids.

Gary is survived by his aunts: Arlene Giacherio of Dearborn, MI and Sue Baer of Gaylord, MI; and his Caregivers and Dear friends: Barb & Jeff Willobee of Luzerne, MI and Jim & Ruth Cousino of Mio, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
