Gary Kahanek

Gary J. Kahanek, age 48, of Mio, MI, a dairy farmer, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Covenant Health Care System in Saginaw, MI.
Gary was born on January 6, 1964 in Detroit, MI to Frank F. and Lorraine D. (Makowski) Kahanek.  He moved to Mio in 1988 from Warren, MI.  Gary  married Melody Lantz on March 4, 1989 at the Fairview Mennonite Church.
Surviving are his wife Melody; his mother Lorraine Kahanek of Mio, MI;   his 3 children:  Dawn Kahanek of Mio, Cpl. Frank Kahanek of 29 Palms, CA, and Cody Kahanek of Mio, and his brother David (Pam) Kahanek of St. Joseph, MI.  Gary was preceded in death by his father Frank Kahanek.
In accordance with Garyâ??s wishes, cremation has taken place.  No services are planned.
