Frederick Price

Frederick Vern Price, age 90, of Mio, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 29, 2012.  In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Fred was born in Benten, IL on September 15, 1922 to the late Rena Beal and Frederick A. Price.  He worked for Bell Telephone as an electrical engineer.  He was a World War II veteran, and was an amazing photographer and artist.
Surviving are his daughter Jackie White; his grandchildren:  Michelle & Zeljko and Jessica; his great grandchildren:  Jordan, Olivia and Junior;; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Also surviving are his step-children:  Bonny Carpenter, David Bruce, Bob Bruce, and their families.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his first and second wives:  Mary L. (Baynes) and Shirlie J. (Bruce); and his step-daughter Rebecca Bennett.
Frederick was an amazing man.  He will truly be missed by all.
