A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Branch, MI on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM with interment of ashes to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, North Branch.

Mr. Frank J. Kreiner, 91, of Mio, MI, formerly of Brown City, MI, passed away Thursday, March 20th, 2008 at Bortz Health Care of Rose City.
Friends are invited to call Monday 4-8 PM with Vigil Prayer Services at 7:00 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, MI, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25th, with Father Raymond Cotter officiating. In accordance with Frank's wishes, cremation will follow the Mass. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Branch, MI at a later date, with interment of ashes to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, North Branch.
Frank was born on May 20, 1916 in Brown City, MI to the late Frank and Anna (Scharf) Kreiner. He worked as a farmer and for Guerdon Industries. He moved to Mio in 1981 where he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife: Norma Jean (Kreiner) Kreiner; five daughters, Louanna (Russell) See of Winston, NC, Sandra (Buck) Buckingham of Peoria, IL, Linda Brennan of Port Huron, MI, Gloria (Fred) Abel of Marlette, MI and Christine (Glen) Griswold of North Branch, MI; two sons Francis Kreiner of Lewiston and Peter (Cindy) Kreiner of Brown City, MI; one sister Ellen Kohn of Marlette, Michigan, his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, 5 sisters and son-in-law Raymond Brennan, Jr..
Memorial donations may be made to The Oscoda County Library.

-NOTE: At the family's request, there will be NO viewing the day of The Mass.
