Floyd D. Chaney

Floyd D. Chaney, age 80 of 3255 Handrich Dr., Curran, formerly of Perry, passed away on November 14, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Chaney was born in Lansing, MI on January 21, 1928 the son of Harry Chaney and Bertha Weichner. He resided in Perry where he married Doris Nethaway in October of 1949. He retired from Motor Wheel in Lansing and moved to Curran in 1990.
He is survived by his wife Doris Chaney, daughter Diana DePoy (David), daughter Joan Everhart (Glen), son James Chaney (Diann), 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by sisters Bonnie Jo Hill and Dorothy Mae Morse and brother Ronald Lee Chaney.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Perry VFW will sponsor a dinner and small ceremony at the VFW on November 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
