Florian C. Wcisel, 80, of Mio died Monday, January 22nd, 2007 at Mercy Hospital of Grayling, Michigan.
Visitation is Thursday 1-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI with a Vigil Prayer service at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, MI, at 11 AM on Friday, January 26th, with Father Joseph A. Blasko officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery Mio, MI.
Surviving are his wife Louise L. (married 33 years) children Peggy Moszyk of Bay City; Mike (Terry) Wcisel of Farwell; Dennis (Lynne) Wcisel of Flint; Dale (Lori) Wcisel of Davison; Ray Wcisel of Chicago, IL.; Jill (Steve) Hazlett of Frisco, TX. and Scott Wcisel of Phoenix, AZ.; Stepchildren: Linda (Bob) Christian of Mio; Jeanette (Butch) Aufang of Whittemore; Pam (Gary) Spencer of Dafter; Susanne (Rick) Menary of Oscoda. 12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters: Edwin Wcisel; Leo (Shirley) Wcisel of Clarkston, Christine Chalupniczak of Posen, Eleanor Oliver of Alpena, Florence Sosnowski of West Bloomfield, Delphine (Dennis) Vinson, Margie Simpson and Dorothy Revard all of Bay City
He was preceded in death by his Parents Leo and Stella Wcisel; Brothers Teofil and Frank Wcisel; Infant Sisters: Anna, Gertrude and Irene Wcisel.
Florian was born June 30 , 1926 in Posen, Michigan. He lived in Mio for the past 18 years having moved from Flint. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church Mio, MI and was a self-employed Excavator and Contractor. Florian had owned and operated F. Wcisel Excavating and Mio Construction and was a member of the operating engineers' Local #324.
