Mrs. Evelyn Irene Bedwell, age 82, of Mio, passed away suddenly, Saturday, December 30th, 2006 at Bay Regional Medical Center.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Evelyn was born on Oct. 21, 1924 in Omer, Michigan She was a retired School Bus Driver at Linden Community Schools Linden, Michigan. She and her husband Don moved to Mio in 1990. She enjoyed feeding the wildlife around her home, crocheting, reading and word puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones.
Surviving are her beloved husband Donald R. Bedwell. They were married on August 31, 1946 in Napoleon, Ohio and had been married for 60 years; Daughters Nancy L. of Mio and Janice L. of Gaines; Sons: Donald E. of Dearborn Heights, Dale E. of Gurnie, ILL and Darrell A. of Mio; 9 grandchildren: Ronald, Michael, Angela, Tiffany, Tammy, Ryan, Dale Jr., Lisa and Louise., and 3 great grandchildren: Alex, Tiffani and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John F. and Margarite W. (Kosich) Stiehl and 2 sons: Danny L. and Gary D.
