Elva Eileen Mitchell

Elva Eileen (Buchanan) Mitchell October 12, 1930 - January 15,2021.

A fiercely independent, yet gentle spirit left the earth and entered into eternity with the One True God. Mom knows Jesus Christ and is seeing Him face to face, and reuniting with her mother and her loved ones in Christ.

Preceding Elva, was her husband and the love of her life, Bug (Richard) Mitchell.

Much loved people remain behind on this Earth: Her daughter: Audry Mitchell, Her sons: Joel; Dan (Cari); Toby (Sherry); Craig. Two sisters: Margaret (Tom) Gross; Lorna (Richard) Keebaugh, a few cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Elva's joy in life was children. Many years she worked as a NEMSCA Gramma. When shopping, children from lower elementary to college students would recognize, Gramma Elva in the store and run up and hug her.

Elva loves her children, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They would bring sparkles to her eyes whether playing or sleeping.

She was a very wonderful mother and grandmother. Quick to understand, and quick to forgive.

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13

Be at peace forever now Mom. We have sadness with you gone, but we rejoice that your name is in the Lamb's book of life.
