Elizabeth S Mahon

Elizabeth Eckert Reghi Mahon of Luzerne, Michigan passed away, Monday, October 17, 2011 at The Brook Assisted Living Facility in Roscommon.
Born November 12, 1922 to Daniel and Elise (Gimbel) Eckert in Baden, Germany
She is predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, Walter H. Reghi and her second husband Patrick Mahon, sisters, Mary Kremer, Elfrieda Neale, brothers,  Emil, and Joseph Eckert.
Cherished mother to Walter Reghi (Janis ), Linda Stokes (Doyle), Lorraine Harris ( Robert), Christine LePoudre (Joseph), Daniel Reghi  ( Gloria), David Reghi  ( Sharon) William Reghi (Gayle)
Proud Grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren
Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her children and their families, nieces and nephews, friends and caretakers at The Brook Community Home, and her faithful companion and guard dog for 14 years, Rosie.

Visitation at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio. on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, with a Vigil Prayer service at 7:00 PM, followed by a Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Rosary.
Elizabeth will lay in state on Saturday, October, 22, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the time of  The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Fr. Larry Sergott officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, Michigan.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at The Brook of Roscommon and The Hospice Helping Hands of West Branch for their tireless care and compassion while taking care of our mother.
