Mrs. Edna Katheryn Gascho, age 89, of Fairview, passed away Friday, February 2nd, 2007 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community.
Visitation Sunday 1:00 - 5:00 PM at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio and Monday, February 5, 2007 from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at The Fairview Mennonite Church with Pastor Cody Gascho and Pastor Joshua Montague officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
Edna was born on April 18, 1917 in Fairview to Chauncey & Carrie (Beachy) Miller. She married Edwin Gascho on July 9, 1940. Edna was a homemaker, loving wife and mother and had been an active member of The Fairview Mennonite Church. She enjoyed both gardening and reading.
Surviving are her children: Max & Peggy (Gascho) Stafford of Gaylord, MI; Nelson & Sandra (Gascho) Troyer of Shipshewona, IN; Brooke (Greenburg) Gascho of Philadelphia, PA; Robert & Linda (Gascho) Yoder of Fairview; Dwayne & Dianne (Singler) Gascho of Fairview; John & Dale (Baker) Gascho of Fairview; Carman & Wendelin (Gascho) Crane of Gaylord and Trent & Roxann (Bugg) Gascho of Fairview; sister Mildred Neff; brothers: Lotis & Catherine Miller; Willard & Clara Miller; James & Judy Miller and sister in law Esther Miller; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Gascho on Sept. 10, 1978, son Dean Gascho, infant daughter Charity Faith Gascho, parents Chauncey and Carrie Miller, sister Ruth Miller, brother Otis Miller and brother in law Carl Neff.
Memorials may be made to Community Caring , Inc. for The Home at AuSable Valley Community or Heartland Hospice.
