Mr. Duane I. Bolinger, age 66 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, January 31, 2014.
Duane was born in Flint, Michigan on February 8, 1947 to Wayne and Letha (Multhaupt) Bolinger. He served his country in the US Marines during the Vietnam Era. He married Diana Black on February 10, 1994. Duane worked as a machine operator for A/C Sparkplug, retiring after 30 years of service. He loved to hunt and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids
Duane is survived by his wife Diana L. Bolinger; his father Wayne I. Bolinger; his children: Wendy (Mike) Fuhr, Diana (Warren) Metz, and Daniel (Pam) Ross; his sisters: Aletha Bolinger and Debra Kemmerline; his brothers: Virgil (Cheryl) Bolinger, David (Linda) Bolinger, and Delmont Bolinger; A close family friend Pat McAllister; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Letha Bolinger; and his sisters Baby Noreen, Carol Diechman and Janet (Bolinger) Woodruff.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at a later date, in the spring.
