Doyce E. Scott

Doyce E. Scott, age 76 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, Michigan on Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
Doyce was born in Platter, Oklahoma on March 22, 1941 to Thomas and Sylvia Scott. He married Judith Ann Callens on September 30, 1961. Doyce worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Southern Carbide Die of Oak Park, Michigan for many years. Doyce was a member of the Luzerne American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Doyce is survived by his children: Christopher Vincent Scott, Pamela Ann Scott, Cynthia Lynn Scott-Hermanson, Gwen Jean Scott-Bilbey, and Katherine Lee Scott-Fortner; his grandchildren: Jacob Tyler Scott, Cheyenne Stacy Scott, Caylin Cree Scott, Keith Allen Bilbey, Gaige Otto Hermanson, Jasmine Elsa Hermanson, and Lyndsey Marie Mott. He was preceded in death by his parents, his dear wife Judith Ann Scott, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
Visitation on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 Noon at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Pastor Hedy Alcock officiating. Interment will follow the services at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, MI.
