Dorothy L. Fox

Dorothy L. Fox, age 90 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

Dorothy was born in Spratt, Michigan on February 7, 1928 to Dexter and Helen (Krouse) Davis. She married Kenneth Fox in 1943, and the couple moved to Mio in 1956. Dorothy had worked for Whitney Pharmacy in Mio, and also at the Fox's Northwood Gardens. She was a member of The Red Hats. She enjoyed going to the casinos, country music, and playing cards (especially Euchre).

Dorothy is survived by her children: Paul (Joan) Fox, Lowell (Kim) Fox, and Margaret Fox; all of Mio, Michigan; her sister Joan Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee; 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, her daughters: Helen Leaf and Sheila Rittenhouse, her brother Dexter, and her sisters: Louise, Marjie, and Virginia.

Visitation on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 1-4 and from 6 -8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI; and also on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11 AM at the Mio United Methodist Church with Pastor Brenda Klacking and Mr. Jim Anderson officiating. Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial donations to Heartland Hospice of West Branch.
