Dorothy Fogle

Dorothy J. Fogle, age 86 of Lewiston, MI, formerly of Highland MI, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview, MI.
Dorothy was born in Lansing to Ikeie and Nellie M. Smith (nee: Me Michael) on April 5, 1925. She was the oldest of 7 children and resided in Flint until she married Lawrence R. Fogle, in Clintonville, Mi. on September 29, 1951.
She and Lawrence resided in Highland MI, Mesa AZ, and then Milford MI. until they moved to Lewiston in 1993. She is survived by her Husband of 60 years, Lawrence Fogle of Lewiston; sons   David Fogle of Lewiston, Kevin (Nancy) Fogle of Lewiston; 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, her sister Ellouise (Arlie) Smith of Ovid, brothers Brennan Smith of Flushing and L.D. (Mary Louise) Smith of Tanner, Alabama; Sister in Law Karen Smith of Goshen Indiana, Sharon Smith of Indiana, many Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother George Smith, her sister Barbara Coggins and her brother J.D. Smith. Also 2 sisters in law: Lee Smith and Louella Smith, and 2 brothers- in - law, Milo Palmer, and David Coggins. She also was preceded by a son and daughter, Gary Lee Fogle, and Ruth Ann Fogle.
Per Dorothy's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Family requests donations to AuSable Valley Home, 1390 Maple Dr., Fairview, MI 49621, in her memory in lieu of flowers.
