Donna J. Yoder

Mrs. Donna J. Yoder, age 81, of Comins, passed away Monday, December 8, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Grayling.
Visitation Friday from 11A.M. -1 P.M. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Comins Mennonite Church with Pastor Kevin Salsbury officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Yoder was born on November 16, 1927 in Saginaw to Dennis & Eleanora (Schwartz) Edwards. She moved to Comins in 1954, and married Joseph Yoder on November 3,1956 in Saginaw. Donna had worked as a Pharmacist's Assistant at Fullerton Pharmacy in Fairview and as a bookkeeper for H&Y Sales and Service. She served as Comins Township Clerk for many years. Donna was a member of the Comins Mennonite Church and had been active in the Fairview Home Extension Group She enjoyed reading, and working both crossword and jigsaw puzzles
Mrs. Yoder is survived by her children: James (Claudia) Yoder of Comins, Cheryl (David) Bugg of Comins, and Gwen (Percy) Gibson of Iron Mountain, Ml; her brothers and sisters: Joan (Jim) Brandimore, Duane (Sue) Edwards, Shirley Acha, Marjorie (Maurice) Zissler, Marilyn (Jim) Rapp, and Lorraine Kreager; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Yoder, her infant daughter Jody Marie Yoder, and 2 brothers: William (Patricia) Edwards and Harold Edwards.
