Donna Jean Cresson

Donna J. Cresson, age 78, of Mio, MI, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Friday, June17, 2011 at her home.
Donna was born on July 11, 1932 in Millington, Michigan to Ernest and Laura Mae (Riness) Leix.  She moved to Mio when she was 16 years old and graduated from Mio High School.  Donna had attended Mio Church of God.  She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing, and camping.  She will be remembered by her family as a meticulous housekeeper.
Donna is survived by her children:   Steven (Deborah) Boerner of Mio; Cheryl ""Boerner"" Smith of Constantine, MI; Randa (Jack) Feamster of Mio; Kevin (June Bug) Boerner of Mio; and Timberly (Rick) Neff of Durand, MI; her brothers:  Elton Leix and Wilford Leix; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; a dear family friend:  John E. Miller of Atlanta, MI; and her beloved dog, Snickers.  Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband Warren Boerner; her 2nd husband Arthur Cresson; and her granddaughters Camila and Domino/Jo.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.  Interment of ashes will take place at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
