Diane Lee Cross

Diane L. Cross, age 73 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at McLaren Bay Regional Hospital in Bay City, MI on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Diane was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 22, 1942 to John and Roberta (Farrington) Daley. The family moved to Mio when Diane was 2 years old.  She graduated from Mio High School with the Class of 1960.  Diane married John Cross on May 11, 1963 in Muskegon, Michigan. The couple lived in Greenville, MI, before settling back in Mio in 1968.  Diane was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, softball, basket weaving, and ceramics.  She taught ceramics through the 4H for several years.
Diane is survived by her husband John of Mio, MI; her children:  Leslie (Charlie) Makowski of Mio, MI and Rob (Leslie) Cross of Providence Forge, VA; her sisters Susie and Janell; her grandchildren:  Justin, Natlie, Garrett, and Rylie; her best friends Joanne Smith and Susan Bylich; and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to any cancer or diabetes charity of the donor’s choice.
